6J13/6J13P/6J13X F2 Manganin-Type Precision Resistance Wire for High Mechanical Strength and Stability

Manganin is a precision alloy primarily composed of copper and manganese, with manganese content typically ranging from 12% to 14%. It is valued for its consistent electrical resistivity and minimal resistance variation with temperature, making it an excellent choice for applications requiring stable and precise electrical resistance.

The 6J13/6J13P/6J13X F2 Manganin-Type Precision Resistance Wire is a copper-based alloy with manganese and nickel, known for its high resistivity and minimal temperature coefficient of resistance. It has a resistivity of 0.44±0.04 μΩ·m at 20°C and a TCR of 0~40 α×10^-6/°C. This alloy is ideal for precision resistors and ammeter shunts due to its stability and low thermal EMF against copper (max 2 μV/°C). Mechanically, it boasts a tensile strength of 585 MPa (hard) and 390-535 N/mm2 (annealed, soft), with an elongation of 6-15%. The wire's density is 8.4 g/cm³, and it can operate continuously up to 100°C with a melting point of 1450°C. Its applications span from electrical measuring instruments to cryogenic systems, where it minimizes heat transfer while providing electrical connections.

    We mainly manufacture 6J13,6J8,6J12.
