High corrosion resistance CuNi Alloy wire CuNi34 for marine and seawater environments

High corrosion resistance CuNi Alloy wire CuNi34 for marine and seawater environments

CuNi34 is a copper-nickel alloy containing approximately 34% nickel and 66% copper, offering excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine and seawater environments. Its key properties include high resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and pitting, making it ideal for use in shipbuilding, offshore platforms, and desalination plants. The alloy also demonstrates good mechanical strength, ductility, and toughness, along with resistance to stress corrosion cracking in harsh conditions.

CuNi34 has moderate electrical and thermal conductivity due to its nickel content, which reduces the properties compared to pure copper. However, it still maintains sufficient performance for applications in heat exchangers and other systems exposed to aggressive environments.

Common uses of CuNi34 include marine components, heat exchangers, pipes, and tubes, particularly in industries that require long-lasting, durable materials in contact with seawater or corrosive substances. This alloy's combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and durability makes it a popular choice for demanding industrial applications in the marine and chemical sectors.
